Married: Joost Snediker (b. 5 November 1738, of Wolver Hollow, NY) c. 1764.

Parents:
Aeltje's parents are Garret and Helena (Ammerman) Van Wicklen.
Joost's parents are Garret and Christiana (Lequear) Snediker.

Background information:

Aeltje^4 Van Wicklen (Garret^3, Gerrit^2, Jentie^1 JEPPES) was b. 3 April 1735 in Jamaica, Queens and was bap. 4 May 1735 with Jan and Aaltje (VAN LIEW) Dorlant as sponsors. She married Joost SNEDIKER c. 1764, son of Garret and Christiana (Lequear) SNEDIKER. Joost was born 5 Nov 1738 and died 13 Apr 1784 (bur. 15 April 1784). In his will of 11 Apr 1784, Joost Snediker of Oyster Bay named wife Altie and “made my brother-in-law Jacob Van Wicklen, an executor. Her later history is not known. Children, all bap. at Wolver Hollow Dutch Reformed Church are Garrit (in honor of both grandfathers), Abraham, Jan, and Joost.

Children: Garrit Snediker, bap. 15 April 1765, Wolver Hollow, NY; Abraham Snediker, bap. 25 May 1766, Wolver Hollow, NY. Helena (Amerman) Van Wicklen, his maternal grandmother was a witness at the baptism; Jan Snediker, bap. 20 August 1772, Wolver Hollow, NY; Joost Snediker, bap. 11 October 1774, Wolver Hollow, NY. Joost is not in his father's will of 11 April 1784, so apparently deceased by that time.
